Warehouse Manager Opening  

We are hiring an Inventroy/ Warehouse Manager.

We are seeking a proactive, hands on, and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the overall functioning of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products. The Warehouse Manager will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, implementing warehouse processes, and leading a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals. This is a hands-on role with the expectation of spending time in the manufacturing facility.

In this position, you will

  • Control inventory levels across our two locations, including locating parts and tracking down material.
  • Manage inventory levels and accuracy through effective planning and cycle counting.
  • Supervise the moving of parts into the correct location.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving and proper storage of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards to create a safe working environment for employees.
  • Implement and optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, including implementing 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • Prepare regular reports and statistics on warehouse performance for management review.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility to facilitate a productive working environment.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure inventory counts remain accurate.
  • Contact Suppliers and Vendors when materials arrive damaged or not to product specification.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, with at least 2 years in warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience implementing 5S principles or similar lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
